Blazers for Work and Play

I hope you are all reading this post from the comfort of your PJ’s on this MLK Day! However, if you’re like me, you may be pumping yourself up to launch into the second half of the school year…GO PANTHERS!

I am so excited to share with you today one of my favorite work wear essentials: the blazer. Blazers are one of my favorite outfit pieces and can truly transform a look. Throw on a pair of trouser pants and a nice blouse and you will definitely give off a heading-to-work vibe. But add a blazer and suddenly you look tailored, chic, and like the GIRL BOSS you are! I honestly believe in the power of the blazer. After graduating college I wore a blazer to every interview I had. As a 5ft 2 in women trying to enter the workforce, I always felt (and still do) that well fitted, professional outfits can be the first step to helping people take you seriously as a young person. entering the workforce.
