Boutique of the Week: Böhme Boutique

One of the things I love most about traveling and living for short periods of time in different cities as a singer is exploring the unique shops and restaurants there. It’s not just a fun way to pass the time, it helps make myself feel more at home and more rooted to the location. This summer living in Logan, Utah has been such the underrated adventure. Before this trip I had never traveled west and really had no idea what to expect. All I knew was Utah had strict alcohol laws (and this girl was feeling some gin and tonic separation anxiety). But, I have been SO surprised. Logan and Utah as a whole has been absolutely incredible. Everyone is so ridiculously friendly here. Online the east coast where people snarl when you even hold a door open for them, sales clerks will actually chat with you. People will smile and say hello on the streets and NO they are not trying to pick-pocket you. What a nice change!

The food and style here are both so fresh and unique and colorful. I have gone to more than two farmers markets every week and there’s always something new to find there. Fresh produce, bread, honey, you name it, it’s there. Women love sporting these long, flows, feminine dresses and look so classy and comfortable at the same time. I knew I had to find where they were shopping so that I can attempt to look as cool and collected as them. And I stumbled across this gold mine AKA Böhme Boutique. I had run to the mall  in search of a dress that covered my shoulders for a singing gig in a religious venue and decided to pop into this store, and my bank account instantly plummeted. I found it hard to pick out something in the entire store that I would not love to have in my wardrobe, IN THE ENTIRE STORE! I am absolutely obsessed. This week they even have 50% off all clearance and swimwear. Which means you can get a cute bathing suit or wrap dress for under $20! Now that’s unreal.
