We can’t believe we’ve been back to school for over a month! The time has been flying by, and it’s been a rude awakening going from sitting at home in our pajamas until lunch time to 5am wake ups and running out the door! If quarantine has taught us anything, it’s that washing our hair every day is a thing of the past! It’s no secret that our hair isn’t the same every day! Some mornings, we wake up, shake out our ponytails and walk out the door. Since our hair is both wavy and fine, we love switching between products depending on how we plan to style our hair each week! Here are the products we recommend for wavy and fine/flat hair:

Day One Hair: Shiny Curls
On wash day, usually the weekend for us, we love to wear our hair down and show off all the shine! There’s nothing better than that clean hair feeling, which we love being able to achieve without the water during the work week!
Day Two Hair: Half Up Style
Our hair is still feeling pretty clean on day two, but we always notice a little bit of extra frizz and dry ends. With a half up half down look, you can stretch out day one curls and maintain your root volume for the rest of the week! Day Four Hair: Twisted Bangs
This is when our hair starts needing some extra TLC to look its best and make it to the next wash day! Twisting our bangs back helps our skin from feeling oily and is another great no-fuss style. You won’t find any drying alcohols, sulfates, or parabens in this dry shampoo either! After applying these refreshing products, we may only have to re-curl a few pieces for a finished look. We try to avoid heat restyling as much as possible since our hair is pretty fine and can damage easily.
Day Five Hair: Bubble Braids
What can we say about bubble braids except that they are the perfect fall style! They look so cute with a hat or scarf, and are also great for stretching your hair one last day before washing. By the end of the week, we’re always looking for a quick, cute style that gives our hair a volume boost! The great thing about bubble braids is that you can stretch them to get as much body as you want. Even fine hair like ours does great with this style! Our hair starts to feel ready to wash around day five but we’re always looking to get one more day out of our wash!
