Instagram Story Editing Apps

Today for Blogger Tip Tuesday I’m sharing my top 3 Instagram Story Editing Apps. We love getting creative with our Instagram Stories to keep things fresh and gain traction with our followers.

 If you have an Instagram business account and have 10K+ followers, viewers will be able to swipe up from stories to a link of your choice. This can help drive followers to your blog, other social media pages, or a retail website to boost your commissions. The more interesting your stories, the more your viewers will take a break from swiping and see what you have to say!

Think of your stories as your own TV channel. Will people keep clicking or pause and watch your show? This isn’t to say you have to be inauthentic in order to be entertaining but you should tailor your stories to your viewers interest. Below you can find my favorite Instagram Story Editing Apps to spark your stories.

1. Instagram Story Editing Apps: Mojo

This is by far my favorite story editing app as it gives you lots of freedom to customize their templates and even create your own. You can also add music, buttons, change the duration of slide elements, and so much more!

This app also allows you to feature both video and pictures. As a “Freemium” app there are lots of tools whether you choose to upgrade to their pro version or not. If I could only use one Instagram story editing app THIS WOULD BE IT!

1. Instagram Story Editing Apps: Storyluxe

This app is one of my recent discoveries and I love it for stories as well as Instagram posts. They have lots of creative templates that work with videos or photos. I like this app for the collage options and for giving static pictures on IG stories a little boost. 

This app have fewer options that Mojo but I really enjoy the “sketchbook” type templates. Storyluxe is another “freemium” app but has lots of options whether you buy the full version or not.

Instagram Story Editing Apps: StoryChic

If you want an app that combines the flexibility of Mojo and the awesome picture & video templates of StoryLuxe, then StoryChic is for you. They give you almost endless ways to customize your stories with a diverse range of templates. 

I use this app for both IG Stories as well as creating pins for Pinterest. This is also a “freemium” app with great free/premium options. I really enjoy the different text scripts and horizontal photo friendly templates,
